Happy I didn't put "to run a marathon" in my list!

I just wanted to thank my 25-year-old self about 8 months ago for NOT writing "participating in a marathon" in the 101.
Last weekend we woke up to that sounds of "yaaay" down from the streets. We went to our porch and saw that the Jerusalem-Marathon was passing through our street (lucky for me- that meant Amir can't go to work:) ). So we decided to go out for breakfast at a bakery near by and we took our Camera.
You have to understand - two days before that (On my birthday) a bomb exploded - killed 1 and injured over 30. The whole city was, and still is, in a state of a shock. No one wants to believe it's starting over - another period with terrorist attacks one after the other, endangering the safety of so many people. I hope it won't start again.
So that marathon pulled people out of their homes- weather to run or to cheer (or in our case- to go eat and take pictures). It was great, it was lifting AND we got some cool pictures to show-off :-)

me- from our porch, trying to get a closer look and some nice pic's

our healthy breakfast
because some just had to pick up the calories all these running people dropped!
some happy runners with happy people cheering them
Now for the sad part - Gilad Shalit - I'm so... well happy isn't the word, maybe pleased? well- that so many chose to remind everyone Gilad Shalit isn't home yet.
